Following the pandemic, both of our ’23 and ’24 London Spring Tours were quickly sold out, due to the stellar performances of the Royal Opera Covent Garden (‘ROH’) and the exceptional quality of the Glyndebourne Festival. (Our Patron status at both the ROH and Glyndebourne enable us to offer premium tickets to their sought-after events.) For June of 2025, we look forward to Covent Garden for a pair of the season’s highlights – Charles Gounod’s iconic French opera, Faust; and the Royal Ballet’s sumptuous version of Onegin (Pushkin’s epic poem, ‘Eugene Onegin’) in the celebrated choreography of the late John Cranko. Our visit to the Sussex estate of Glyndebourne will be for Handel’s Baroque masterwork Saul, a revival of the acclaimed 2015 production with Christopher Purves and Jestyn Davies reprising their duo portrayal of Saul and David. Yet another spring highlight will take us to London’s Holland Park Opera for one of their open-air performances; and a West End Play will be selected from the busy June theatrical season to be announced later.

To minimize the stress of London’s notorious traffic during high season, we have reserved our accommodations for six nights (with full English breakfast included) at the Radisson Blu Edwardian Hotel in the heart of the West End. Located at Seven Dials within easy walking distance of Covent Garden, this small boutique property was formerly ‘The Edwardian’ and has recently been renovated as the Radisson Blu. A full dining room, 24-hour room service, and a small fitness center are among the hotel’s features. A personal concierge desk assists with theatre tickets and reservations at the many neighborhood restaurants. Best of all, we will walk comfortably to our performances in the city.
