Tour Conditions and Responsibilities
We strongly urge all of our clients to purchase standard travel insurance. Terms and conditions vary from provider to provider, so please be sure to check the details of any policy your are exploring before purchasing.
RESPONSIBILITY: Great Performance Tours and any affiliated persons and firms act only in the capacity of agents for airlines, other transportation companies, hotels, restaurants, performing arts organizations, and other principals. The full responsibility for any transportations rests with the companies in charge of the vehicles or persons actually conveying passengers. Recourse for any accident or omission must be initiated in the state or country where such incident has occurred. Great Performance Tours does reserve the right to alter hotels, other tourist facilities and transportation arrangements depending on unforeseen circumstances and the comforts and desires of its clients. All tickets and vouchers are subject to the conditions of the independent companies contracted by Great Performance Tours, and Great Performance Tours shall not be held responsible for personal injury, expenses due to changes in schedule from causes beyond their control or loss of or damage to personal property including luggage. In particular, Great Performance Tours is not responsible for accidents, loss or theft, delays in arrival or departure schedules dependent on transportation companies, government restrictions strikes, quarantine or medical requirements, force majeure or other circumstances beyond their control.
Great Performance Tours reserves the right to cancel full or partial tour participation to any person for reasons deemed appropriate for the well-being of other tour members. The right is also reserved to resell tour space without notice if final payment for the space has not been made prior to the specified due date (90 days prior to departure date). A tour member may withdraw from a scheduled tour at any time but only at the individual's own risk. No refund will be required for any unused portion of the tour unless mutually agreed upon 90 days prior to the departure date.
CANCELLATION POLICY: All cancellations received prior to 90 days before the Tour departure date for any Tour will be refunded minus a handling charge of $300 per person. For cancellations received 90, or fewer, days before the departure date, Great Performance Tours will refund only charges recoverable from independent contractors. This amount will vary considerably according to the increasingly strict advance payment policies required by such independent contractors as hotels, box offices, restaurants and bus companies. All cancellations must be received in writing.
ITINERARIES: A final itinerary with detailed information will be mailed approximately 30 days prior to departure.
